Quinta do Munot is a private luxury holiday rental in Madeira, elevated above the Atlantic and designed for guests who value silence, space and light.
The property hosts only two spacious sea-view apartments, each accommodating up to four guests. Both units can be reserved individually or combined via an internal staircase to form an exclusive four-bedroom house for families, retreats or small teams. With availability intentionally limited, the Quinta remains calm, intimate and personal.
Surrounded by mountains, sea and open sky, the house sits in complete quiet at the end of a small road with no nearby neighbors. The building faces south to capture maximum sunlight, while the bedrooms open toward the east to welcome sunrise over the mountains. From the terraces, sunsets are visible all year round, where the blue of ocean and sky meets.
Fast WiFi, private parking at the property, fully equipped premium kitchens and allergy-friendly interiors create effortless comfort for longer stays.
Whether you are a multi-generation family, a small team, an active couple or travelers seeking a quiet retreat, Quinta do Munot offers rare privacy and generous space. The house is designed for stays of five nights or more because Madeira’s landscapes unfold slowly and reward those who stay.

Apartment Céu: sea view apartment with private rooftop terrace
Apartment Céu offers the same generous layout and premium comfort as its twin apartment Jardim, designed for up to four guests who value space, light and calm.
Accessed via a private entrance directly from your parking space, the apartment opens into a light-filled living and kitchen area framed by uninterrupted ocean and landscape views. The custom-made kitchen combines elegant granite worktops with premium appliances, including a flush ceramic hob, oven and dishwasher, ideal for guests who enjoy cooking as part of their stay.
Two bedrooms and two bathrooms create effortless privacy when traveling together. The main bathroom features a spacious walk-in rain shower, complemented by a separate second toilet. Bedding was personally sourced from a silk atelier in China, fine cotton fabric with silk filling for exceptional sleeping comfort. Eco-certified French waffle piqué towels are provided.
What makes Céu unique is its private 35 m² rooftop terrace. Glass railings preserve a full 360-degree panorama across the Atlantic, the high plateau and the changing sky, a place above the island where sunrise and sunset feel equally close. A shaded garden on the north-east side offers an additional quiet retreat.
The apartment is barrier-reduced, tiled and allergy-friendly, ensuring a relaxed stay. Only eight steps lead to the private entrance. Fast WiFi and private parking are included.

Apartment Rates
Each apartment (Céu or Jardim) starts from EUR 150 per night.
Rates vary by season, demand and requested travel dates.
Both apartments are identical in comfort and layout. The only difference is the outdoor space, either a rooftop terrace or a garden terrace.
Entire House Option
When both apartments are booked together, Quinta do Munot becomes an exclusive private house.
The entire house starts from EUR 290 per night and accommodates up to 8 guests with 4 bedrooms, 4 bathrooms and 2 kitchens.
Minimum Stay
A minimum stay of five nights applies to all reservations.
Requests under five nights are considered individually and are subject to a higher nightly rate.
Seasonal Pricing
All rates are dynamic and dependent on season and availability.
High-demand periods and holidays are priced at higher levels.
Booking & Payment Terms
Please send your requested travel dates and number of guests. You will receive a non-binding written offer with the exact total price.
A reservation becomes binding for both parties once 50% of the total amount has been paid, this deposit is non-refundable.
The remaining balance must be paid no later than two weeks before arrival. If full payment has not been received by this date, the reservation becomes invalid and the deposit is retained.
Because the property hosts only two apartments, availability is limited and early inquiries are recommended.
Force Majeure
If circumstances beyond the control of either party make the stay impossible, including but not limited to natural disasters, government restrictions, transport shutdowns or other events of force majeure, both parties will work in good faith to find a fair solution such as rescheduling or future credit, subject to availability. Refunds are excluded in cases of force majeure, as such events are outside the responsibility of both guest and host.

How does booking work?
Send your travel dates and number of guests. You receive a non-binding offer, once you accept and pay 50%, the reservation is confirmed.
Is the deposit refundable?
Deposits are non-refundable.
What if I pay late?
The remaining balance must be paid two weeks before arrival or the reservation becomes invalid.
Can we stay fewer than five nights?
Shorter stays may be possible by request but are subject to a higher rate.
Are children and infants welcome?
We have a cot and a high chair available for our younger guests. We also have car booster seats.
Are pets allowed?
Pets are not permitted.
Is smoking allowed?
Smoking is not permitted inside the house.
Is there WiFi and parking?
Fast WiFi and private parking right outside the front door are included. Electric vehicles can be charged.
What is included in the accommodation prices?
Bed linen, towels and beach towels are included, as is final cleaning. Optional interim cleaning will be charged separately.
