The Quinta do Munot guest house offers the Jardim and Céu apartments, which can be rented separately or together. Make them your home away from home in Madeira!
We offer attentive, personalised service and are always on hand to help our guests with advice and assistance, as we live separately on the large property.
The newly built (2025) house extends over two floors, is flooded with light and offers unparalleled views of the sea, sky and countryside. Of course, you also have access to your private garden with a wonderful terrace (Jardim)
From the upper floor, a staircase leads to your private 35 m² roof terrace. The terrace is secured with glass so that nothing disturbs the view (Céu).

The rooms are arranged on the ground and first floors. On the top floor, there is also a stunning terrace for the use of guests, from where you can enjoy the wonderful view. A cup of tee or coffee, favorite book on the table and breath-taking view in front – this is all you need to relax and to feel delightful emotions of your vacation.

About us
Quinta do Munot’s history begins in 2025 …
Quinta do Munot is newly built in a magical place. The nearest neighbor is far away and you can feel the nature that is Madeira: mountains, sea, sky. We are a Swiss/German couple who love Madeira and who have made our dream of living by the sea come true. We are happy to show you exciting hiking routes, cozy restaurants and are always available for questions. We had the road built right up to the property so we have total peace and quiet at the end of the cul-de-sac.
The orientation of the houses was important to us to get the maximum amount of light. The Quinta do Munot faces south. The bedrooms face east to catch the sunrise over the mountains.
From Quinta do Munot you can see beautiful sunsets all year round.
The guest house is finished. There is still some work to be done on the main house.

Your hosts
As a qualified engineer, he used to solve complex technical problems. At Quinta do Munot, he ensures that everything runs smoothly and reliably. He loves showing guests the beauty of Madeira and sharing his knowledge and experience from countless hikes on the island.
She originally worked in the 4- and 5-star hotel industry before working as a psychotherapist for many years. This makes her ideally equipped to look after our guests and handle all administrative tasks professionally. She is the heart and soul of Quinta do Munot and ensures that our guests feel completely at home. Always helpful and approachable, she is there when you need her.
